Section dedicated to small power supplies for integration into electronic prototypes or production of integrated systems. There are also step-down buck converters that work by reducing the voltage from a higher voltage to a lower. The buck voltage converters are particularly useful when one needs a fixed voltage for the whole system or part of it (such as 3.3 volts, 5 volts, 12 volts etc ...). They are also present DC-DC step-up converters for converting a voltage into a higher (for example convert the 12 volts 24 volts).
