The ML8511 UV sensor is a sensor of ultraviolet light easy to use, is present in output an analog signal proportional to the amount of UV light which is detected. It can be used to measure the amount of ultraviolet present in the environment or to create devices that indicate the possibility of burns. The ML8511 sensor detects wavelengths between 280-390nm allowing to detect both UVB (burning rays) and UVA (tanning rays). In shutdown mode, the standby current is 0.1A, allowing a longer battery life.
