The GY-801 module is the update of the predecessor GY-80 and includes a L3G4200D, specifically a 3-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer ADXL345, a three-axis magnetometer HMC5883L and a Bosch BMP180 pressure sensor.
It is the ideal solution for mobile applications and for all those solutions which provide for the detection of the displacement and the movement of an object, together with the detection and measurement of the earth's magnetic field and at atmospheric pressure.
Perfect for detection and measurement applications in model aircraft, drones, weather stations and a thousand other applications.
Add six ADC converters 16bit (one for each axis) used for the accelerometer and gyroscope sensors and an ADC 12bit for the magnetometer ensuring the maximum precision of the conversion of the data detected. To combine precision speed each sensor can give a programmable output in different ranges carried in the technical specifications.
The module is designed for use with a large variety of microcontrollers using communication through the I2C bus, it is therefore taken to be handled by Arduino and many other development kit.
